A message from Rev Keith Jackson CTiC Chair
These are exciting times to be a Christian and there is much to celebrate amongst the churches and Christian organisations working throughout our community.
Our aim is to be a visible sign of local Christians commitment to one another, as an expression of Jesus' prayer 'that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you: may they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.' John 17:21
We believe we are called to be salt and light to our city and therefore are "transformed people, transforming Chelmsford."
This includes our corporate mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ as widely as possible, to act as a voice for Christians in the city of Chelmsford, and to foster unity amongst the various churches and Christian organisations in the area (a fuller list of our formal objectives can be seen by clicking the link to our constitution).
The Steering Committee is made upon Christians from many different Christians streams including, but not exclusively, Anglican, Baptist, Pentecostal and Charismatic churches.
CTiC is part of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
We would especially value the input from new supporters and if you would like any further details on the work of CTiC or its events,
please contact the Secretary, Richard Cecil.
